SYNOPSIS : When Kishan Lal, a simple factory worker from Banaras, is transferred to Malegaon, Maharashtra, he relocates with his family in search of a better life. But what awaits him is far from the peace he expected. Upon arrival, Kishan learns that the promised factory housing won’t be available immediately. Instead, he is forced to live temporarily in a dense, predominantly Muslim neighborhood — a world he has never known and instinctively fears.
