SYNOPSIS : In this dystopian society, everyone is divided by their hair colors (which has an underlying meaning for stereotypes). When you turn 16, you must have a “recoloration” to see if your original birth hair color is the same as now. Emberly, the main character, gets displaced into a different hair color at age 16.
