SYNOPSIS : A Freshman in high school, who struggles with a learning disability.
Joeys town unexpectedly shuts down for a minimum of 2 weeks do to a highly dangerous virus going around, which leads Joey to finish the school year remote (at home). Joey starts to struggle even more with school work, and when he seeks help from his teachers, they refuse to meet with him via zoom/on the phone. This leads Joey wanting to give up and quit. His mother being a school teacher tries to help all she can, but as weeks go on with only emails from teachers, she starts to fight for justice with the school.
