SYNOPSIS : Amaka Nonso an immigrant who arrives Canada with her family from Nigeria is very fascinated with the world of creative design and thinks about pursuing a career in it, but this world is shut with impossibilities to live in as her father decides her future is to join him in paying black tax fees to families back home. Laura’s mother battles an illness as her father finds it difficult to assist. Amaka has to make a decision in a second that could alter the cause of her life.
