SYNOPSIS : In a world of machines we created to serve us, are we still needed?
THE SETTLER begins with this question and turns it into a surreal, dreamlike science-fiction journey.
On a distant, forgotten planet, an infant settler arrives from nowhere. We do not know who sent him, where he came from, or why he is there. Around him lies an abandoned agricultural settlement, silent beneath alien suns. Its machines are still functioning — robotic animals, forgotten farming systems, mechanical flowers and strange remnants of a civilization that seems to have disappeared.
They can move. They can work. They can survive.
But they have been waiting for something.
